My name is Ara and I want to tell you the history of the SEO business. When I started working in the SEO and online marketing industry in 2005, the algorithms used for search engine rankings were not as fine-tuned as they are today. I started my career doing backlinks for clients, and most of them had no relevancy to the client’s business. For example, one of my clients was in the real estate business in Los Angeles, but the backlinks were coming from medical supply stores, online toy stores, to name a few.
Back then, not too many people were concerned about quality content – most clients were more concerned about the graphic design of their website than their content because they thought no one had the time to read the content on the page.
This changed after a few years as search engines such as Google began to change their algorithms to reflect quality content over high volume content. Search engines want to see backlinks that are related to the client’s industry, and high-quality content that is relevant and informative to readers.
I’ve seen the evolution of the industry and I understand that keeping on top of the frequent algorithm changes is critical to the success of an SEO campaign. When a user searches Google, Yahoo, Bing or other search engines, the results they see first are the ones featuring relevant information from quality websites that are frequently updated. Our attention to changes is one thing that sets us apart from the competition.
My work at leading SEO companies has led me to realize that overcharging for SEO services has no benefit for customers and for us. The rates we have on our website are reasonable and feature top-quality work. We work with a team of talented writers who craft unique content for all of our clients. And we never use outside tools to create content backlinks, social mentions, local listings or other services we provide.
We think you’ll see the difference when you work with us.
